I’m in beautiful West Yorkshire, UK. I’m a mum of two adult children, aged 26 and 23.

For over 25 years, I've led and managed multidisciplinary teams for local authorities. As a freelance writer for B2B and trainer, I draw on that experience.

• I’ve written for some amazing organisations and businesses. I’m a digital marketing certified professional and have a strong understanding of SEO.

• I’ve led and managed teams, working alongside staff and volunteers, using restorative practices, and managing conflict.

• I have a wealth of knowledge about workplace well-being. I’m trained in mental health, domestic abuse, conflict management, and motivational interviewing.

• I’m a highly experienced, skilled leader and volunteer manager. I’ve worked with the NHS and local authorities to develop and coordinate a highly successful peer mentoring programme in collaboration with other professionals.

• I’ve developed a range of accredited and non-accredited training courses and materials for adults to enhance their skills, knowledge, and confidence, which supports career development.

What do I enjoy outside of work? I run two local walking groups (check out the pic on the left). I also enjoy anything related to interior design and travelling. My favourite place I’ve visited so far is Lisbon. I just love their pastéis de nata (Portuguese custard tarts).
