I’ve spent over 25 years working in Children’s Centres, supporting families and young children, particularly in disadvantaged communities. I’m trained to Level 3 in Children’s Learning, Care, and Development and hold extensive leadership and management qualifications, as well as real-world experience. I’ve worked alongside health visitors, midwives, schools, and early years settings for many years, and I am also HENRY trained (Health, Education, Nutrition for the Really Young).
I’ve developed and delivered evidence-based parenting programmes, such as Incredible Years and Empowering Parents, Empowering Communities (EPEC). I help staff build strong relationships with families and feel more confident discussing sensitive topics, such as mental health, behaviour, and safeguarding.
